Thomas Bayrle

Multiple by German artist Thomas Bayrle. Color serigraphy on plastic box and movable plastic slats with hand crank for the movement mechanics. This so called "Bonnie & Clyde" work is designed in 1969 in limited edition of 500 copies. Signed at the back. Bayrle always works with a graphic basic principle in all objects, graphic, painting and video. He participated with important contributions in documenta several times. His working with seriality makes his work comparable to that of Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein or Sigmar Polke. Like them, he is commenting on both the world of products but also on the medium itself.
