Every detail on the ceiling lamp including the cables are fully original. The Lamp designed by Poul Henningsen from the 1940s is in good condition and has a beautiful patina. Manufactured by Louis Poulsen. This original piece makes a warm and soft light. It comes with copper shades and nickel-plated fitment. He designed several versions of the PH Lamps to enable ideal lighting for every room. Apart from his groundbreaking contributions in Danish lighting design, Henningsen worked as an architect, writer, furniture designer, journalist and architecture critic. He was the leading architect at Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen. Poul Gernes, Preben Dahl and Simon Henningsen show clear resemblance to his work.
