These two pieces come in an extraordinary design by Paul Laszlo. Starting with the double armrests, the seat height and the construction of the legs.The Lounge Chairs comes in very good original condition. Manufactured by Brown Saltman. The Hungarian-born architect and interior designer spent his life in the US as a considerable size among the designers and architects of the 20th century. He worked in his architecture and design studio in Beverly Hills for 20 years with German-born Fritz Eden. His prominent audience at that time included amongst others Ronald Reagan, Billy Wilder, Gary Cooper, Cary Grant, Fritz Lang and Barbara Hutton. The fine woodwork equals that of George Nakashima and American Studio furniture, Wharton Esherick and Sam Maloof can also be linked aesthetically.
