The beautiful pair of lounge chairs designed by Otto Schulz comes with a curved, buttoned back. Seat and back are newly upholstered with ash frame and legs. Manufactured in 1963 by Boet. Otto Schulz was a Swedish interior designer and furniture designer. Born in Germany, he moved to Sweden, founding his own furniture company Boet in Gothenburg in 1920. Schulz produced opulent upholstered furniture as well as decorative box furniture oscillating between functionalism and traditionalism. You can trace the same Swedish design qualities of stripped-down essential forms in Ekström, Holmquist, Svensson and Malmsten.
