A pair of very unusual armchairs in woven cane by the famous Italian Ico Parisi. Extraordinary, organically shaped, well suited for a lazy reading corner or even for outdoor use. Manufactured by Bonacina. The creative multitasker Parisi was not only one of the most important Italian architects and designers of the 1950s but also a painter, documentary filmmaker, photographer and performance artist. He thus defined himself as a Renaissance artist, interested in all art forms. Together with wife Luisa they founded a studio that manufactured both furniture, ceramics, glass and jewelry. Fellow Italian benchmarks Franco Albini and Gio Ponti can be considered related.
