The cabinet in teak is designed by Yngve Ekström. Two beautiful teak doors with milled relief decor, interior with pullout trays and shelves. Teak-capped legs and oak frame. Manufactured by Westbergs Moebler. Yngve Ekström is a Swedish furniture designer, wood carver and architect. From early childhoold on Ekström worked in a sawmill and studied drawing, painting, music and art history. The autodidact continued by founding the company Swedese with his brother Jerker, followed by an exhibition of his furniture at Nordiska Kompaniet and his breakthrough with the chair Lamino in 1956. He shares the eye for eloquent, simple form with fellow Scandinavians Carl Malmsten and Kerstin Holmquist.
