Brass and lacquered metal form the individual leaves, which are layered downwards. Beautiful wall light, which give a warm, pleasant light by the refined design. Warren Platner is today considered an icon of modern architecture and design. In his career his paths crossed with many well-known companions. Among others, he worked for the famous designer Raymond Loewy and I.M. Pei, who in return was inspired by the German architect Mies van der Rohe. From 1960 to 1965, Platner was part of Eero Saarinen's development team, including the conception of projects for Dulles International Airport in Washington, Yale University and Lincoln Center. During this time he also worked on his own furniture designs, which were finally produced by Knoll International.
