This Vittorio Nobili armchair is beautifully designed in mahogany with black metal frame and brass fixings. The design is from 1955 and the molded plywood seat as well as the curved armrests are in perfect original condition. Manufactured by Tagliabue. Similar to Roberto Aloi, the design had it’s roots in the Italian take on mid-century design. It has made a lasting impression, as the related examples of Gio Ponti, Franco Albini and Ico Parisi show.
