Daybed by Theo Ruth. This piece comes with a slight back raising and is recently professionally upholstered by our workshop. The Daybed stands on slightly conical wooden legs and promises a very pleasant seat and lying comfort. Made by Artifort in 1950s. Ruth was the first permanent designer at Artiforts to have a major impact on the history of this company's design. His most famous works include the Congo Chair from 1952 and the Penguin Chair from 1957. Designers such as Pierre Paulin and Geoffrey Harcourt also worked with Artiforts' design department during Ruth's tenure.
