Amazing coffee table designed by Tapio Wirkkala in 1958. The table comes with a veneered top and three wooden inlays in leaf ornaments. Manufactured by Asko. Finnish designer and sculptor Wirkkala was a leading figure of post-war European design. His contributions include glasses for Venini and a fruitful cooperation with Rosenthal. His work is unique, but can be compared to that of Finn Juhl.
