Astonishing coffee table designed in 1958 by Tapio Wirkkala. The table comes with a veneered top and a wooden inlay with leaf ornament. Manufactured by Asko. Finnish designer and sculptor Wirkkala was a leading figure in post-war European design. His contributions include glasses for Venini and a fruitful collaboration with Rosenthal. His work is unique, but can be compared to that of Finn Juhl.
