Beautiful Brazilian solid Imbuia wooden and leather Kilin lounge chairs designed by Sergio Rodrigues in 1973. The original and nicely aged leather sling seat is beautifully contrasted with the warm Imbuia wooden frame. The studied architect was mainly active inside interior design. His chair Mole gained him immediate fame and until today belongs to the permanent exhibition of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) in New York. Oscar Niemeyers Brasilia plans included many of Rodrigues furniture. You can see clear influences of Borge Mogensen and Charlotte Perriand in his pieces.
