Magnificent Brazilian rosewood, metal and leather Folding chair designed by Sergio Rodrigues in 1973. The original and nicely aged leather sling seat is beautifully contrasted with the a Imbuia wooden frame. The studied architect was mainly active inside interior design. His chair Mole gained him immediate fame and until belongs to the permanent exhibition of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) in New York today. Oscar Niemeyers Brasilia plans included many of Rodrigues furniture. You can see clear influences of Borge Mogensen and Charlotte Perriand in his pieces.
