Rosmarie & Rico Baltensweiler

Articulated floor lamp designed by Rosmarie Lamp and Rico Baltensweiler equipped with a counter weight system. The lamp can be posed in various positions and comes in lacquered aluminum. This model is the early example from 1950. Manufactured by Baltensweiler AG. Collaboration of Swiss interior architect Rosmarie and designer Rico Baltensweiler. They created a lamp series for Knoll international in 1959 and were commissioned with numerous prestigious large-scale-projects including the Luzern train station restaurant, the aula of the Van Leer-foundation in Jerusalem, for the theatre and art center Luzern and the theatre Zurich. Both H. Fillekes and Gino Sarfatti show resemblances to the designs.
