These eye-catching lounge chairs are made of chromium-plated steel and upholstered in stunning original brown leather with neck roll. The leather is overall very well preserved and  of outstanding quality with the correct balance in patina. Manufactured by E. Kold Christensen. Legendary Danish designer Poul Kjaerholm shares many of the distinctions of his fellow big Danish designers like Jacobsen, Hans Wegner and Fabricius/Kastholm, a crucial difference being his fondness of drafts of the 1920s and '30s. Steel to him possessed the same natural beauty as wood, and he used it accordingly as can be seen in this wonderful set.
