Very rare Ceiling Lamp of Poul Henningsen pendants with copper shades, a nickel-plated fitment and a glass shade just in front of the bulb for a soft, warm light. Designed by Poul Henningsen in the 1940s. The Lamp is in good conditions and has a beautiful patina. Manufactured by Louis Poulsen. Apart from his groundbreaking contributions in Danish lighting design, Henningsen worked as an architect, writer, furniture designer, journalist and architecture critic. He was the leading architect at Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen. Poul Gernes, Preben Dahl and Simon Henningsen show clear resemblance to his work.
