The original bleached teak chair with curved and slightly curved back is available. Seat and back are made of cane. The chair is shorter than the lounge chairs in the back and armrests as well as in the depth. Born in Switzerland, Pierre Jeanneret was an architect and furniture designer. He worked with Charlotte Perriand for many years and was also a partner of his famous cousin Le Corbusier. In 1950 the two men were the main project managers for the construction of the city of Chandigarh, India, from which the legendary pair of chairs emerged. In addition to Perriand and Corbusier, Jean Prouvé is also strongly reminiscent of the look of Jeannerets.
