This pair of bedside tables is created in the late 1940s from Paul Frankl. They are from the collection 'Station wagon' and the materials are mahogany, brass and leather. Manufacturer´s stamp inside a drawer. Manufactured by Johnson Furniture. Viennese Art Deco furniture Designer Frankl set out to form a decidedly American form aesthetic when arriving in the United States in 1914. His pioneering work inside biomorphic design and novel materials such as corc veneer is a unique characteristic, but US-designers Edward Wormley, Robsjohn-Gibbings and Paul McCobb share other important form qualities.
