Ole Wanscher

This wonderful matching rosewood pair comes with circular top with a softly curved apron above six chamfered legs and embraced feet in brass. Manufactured by A.J. Iversen. Wanscher ran an architecture studio specialized on furniture design. His designs aspired to preserve influences from e.g. English and Oriental furniture art, distuingishing him from other big Danish designer as Hans Wegner, Borge Mogensen and Yngve Ekström. His longstanding cooperation with A.J. Iversen set benchmarks in Danish design history.
