Iconic and award-winning chair designed by the artist, architect and designer Max Bill in 1952. Manufactured out of beech/plywood by Horgen-Glarus Switzerland in the 1960s. He co-founded the influential University of Design Ulm in 1953, himself having studied at the Bauhaus University in Dessau. Having a wide influence in both design and fine arts, he exhibiting twice at documenta and together with important artists like Piet Mondrian and Jean Arp throughout his lifetime. Aesthetic linkages are Willy Guhl, Kurt Thut and Hans Bellmann.
