Elegant Lounge Chairs designed by Kipp Stewart in 1950s. The Armchairs comes in walnut with caned back and side, which are in perfect condition. Manufactured by Directional. Trained architect Kipp Stewart distinguished himself as a successful mid-century American furniture designer. His interest in all arts, painting, photography and architecture led to notable projects such as Big Sur’s first luxury resort, the Ventana Inn built alike the Big Sur landscape which is a potent showcase for eco-conscious modern architecture. Apart from Charles Eames who he cites as notable clout, Edward Wormley, Gibbings and Paul McCobb have been similarly influential to Stewart.
