Very rare sofa table designed by Brazilian Jean Gillon in wood and excellent original condition with arched top. Manufactured by WoodArt. Gillon studied Architecture and Fine Arts at the National University in his country of origin, Romania. To refine his techniques he upskilled himself in Vienna and Leeds, lecturing later on at the latter. He simultaneously produced inside interior architecture, fine arts and design after moving to São Paulo in the 1950s. Gillons eye-catching designs resemble the ones of Sergio Rodrigues, Joaquim Tenreiro, Jose Janine Caldas, Martin Eisler or Carlo Hauner.
