Isamu Noguchi

Occasional table 'model 87' by famous Isamu Noguchi. The table comes with a white laminate top with a figurative enameled steel construction as a base and ends again on a round wooden black lacquered  top. In the 1940s and 1950s, Noguchi's best-known furniture designs were created for Herman Miller and Knoll International.Together with other Designer Isamu Noguchi significantly contributes to the development of the US post-war design. In 1945 architect George Nelson, joined the firm Herman Miller as a director of design, so he recruited to its rank talented designer including; Isamu Noguchi, Charles and Ray Eames, Robert Propst, and textile designer Alexander Girard.
