Delicate 1970s bamboo and paper wall lamps by Ingo Maurer. The two wall sconces from the series 'Uchiwa' and give a gentle warm light and act to the wall like sculptural objects. Manufactured by Ingo Maurer. After a training in graphic design, Maurer turned to lighting in the mid-60s, followed by a line of innovations inside the field. Among his contributions is an installation for the Issey Miyake show in 1999 and light objects for the Munich subway station Westfriedhof a year earlier.
