Ceiling lamp made of bamboo and paper from the 1970s by Ingo Maurer. The design resembles a flower and the individual sheets the leaves of a gingko tree. The beautiful design is held by a more solid metal structure, which elegantly disappears into the background. The lamp produces a beautiful warm light, for this the diffuser attached from below is also made of fabric. It is a very rare piece. Made by Ingo Maurer. After training in graphic design, Maurer turned to lighting in the mid-60s, followed by a series of innovations in the field. His contributions include an installation for the Issey Miyake show in 1999 and light objects for the Munich subway station Westfriedhof a year earlier.
