The white gray patterned round table top made of the finest marble offers an impressive contrast to the three-legged frame made of dark wood. The brass finish on the table legs is another highlight. Manufactured by Ariberto Colombo. The creative multitasker was not only one of the most important Italian architects and designers of the 1950s but also a painter, documentary filmmaker, photographer and performance artist. He thus defined himself as a Renaissance artist, interested in all art forms. Together with wife Luisa they founded a studio that manufactured both furniture, ceramics, glass and jewelry. Fellow Italian benchmarks Franco Albini and Gio Ponti can be considered related.
