This iconic pair of lounge chairs is designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen. The cushions are recently newly upholstered and the sculptural design executed in teak with brass legs. Manufactured by France & Son. We have another pair with armrests in stock. Hvidt and Molgaard-Nielsen opened a furniture design office together in 1944, whereafter they collboratively designed their popular AX Chair that was inspired by Charles and Ray Eames' designs. Their single pieces belong to danish Design history and attach them to benchmarks such as Arne Jacobsen, Finn Juhl, Hans Wegner and Ib Kofod Larsen.
