A matching pair of oak bookcases with teak base. Inlay contains generous storage space with three adjustable shelves and a board fixed. The shelves are in very good condition and have been professionally restored by our workshop. Designed by Hans Wegner ind 1952. Manufactured by Ry Møbler, retailed by Magasin. After Wegner studies at the Arts and Crafts School in Copenhagen he got hired as draftsman for the architecture office of Erik Møller and famous furniture designer Arne Jacobsen. Next to Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen and Borge Mogensen, Hans Wegner is one of the great Danish designers.
