Papa Bear Armchair by Hans Wegner. This master piece comes in original gray wollen fabric from 1950s, the legs and nails are recently reworked. So all over in perfect condition. Manufactured by A.P. Stolen in 1951. Next to Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen and Borge Mogensen, Hans Wegner is one of the great Danish designers. Aftercompleting his degree at the Arts and Crafts School in Copenhagen he worked as draftsman for the architecture office of Erik Moller and furniture designer Arne Jacobsen before becoming a milestone in Mid-century Danish design.
