Original pair of Hans Agne Jakobsson candleholders in brass and blue colored glass. These two charming pieces come in excellent vintage condition. Manufactured by Markaryd. Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior furniture designer becoming internationally renown for his multifaceted lighting designs in the 1950s and 1960s. Following the establishment of his own firm, he experimented with a wide array of materials and lighting, inspired by the nature of Sweden. Kerstin Holmquist, Alf Svensson, Carl Malmsten and Otto Schulz can be linked to the distinctively Swedish style of Jakobsson.
