Very rare rotating chair designed by famous Italian Gio Ponti. From 1930 on he designed lighting and furniture for Fontana, becoming head of subsidiary FontanaArte in 1932 with Pietro Chiesa. Ponti is one of the founders of the important Milan Triennale and build the Denver Art Museum. Classics are his chair Superleggera for Cassina, his glasses and lighting for Venini or the coffee machine for La Pavoni. Together with Franco Albini and Ico Parisi he substantially shaped the style of Italian 1050s design.
