Gino Sarfatti

Pair of sconces designed by Italian Gino Sarfatti in the 1960s. These fully opal glass lamps are hold by a brass frame and are in a very good condition with a lovely patina. Manufactured by Arteluce. Sarfattis successful firm Arteluce set milestones in lamp and lighting design in mid-century Italy in experimenting with unusual materials. Young Italian designers such as Franco Albini, Gianfranco Frattini, Vittoriano Vigano and Marco Zanuso worked for his company, that are widely renown today.
