The Gino Sarfatti Modello 1094 was designed in 1966 for Arteluce. Nine glass globes are held by black lacquered metal rings which are elegantly placed around the stem. The most iconic piece of Gino Sarfatti collection is probably Mod 1063, a Classic floor lamp. Manufactured by Arteluce. Sarfattis successful firm Arteluce set milestones in lamp and lighting design in mid-century Italy in experimenting with unusual materials. Young Italian designers such as Franco Albini, Gianfranco Frattini, Vittoriano Vigano and Marco Zanuso worked for his company and are widely renown today. His own designes remind of Angelo Lelli, Michel Buffet and Max Ingrand.
