A beautiful table lamp in perfect size by the cult lighting designer Gerald Thurston. The lampshade is newly covered with high quality linen-cotton and end at the upper opening with a diffuser, which is why the lamp spread a pleasant light. The electrics are in perfect condition and have been professionally checked. Manufactured by Lightolier. Gerald Thurston was one of the most innovative American lighting designers of the postwar era. His lamps are still desired by collectors. Most are from his longtime collaboration with the lighting company Lightolier in the 1950s and 60s.
