This dining table with slender lacquered metal frame under a beautiful wooden top is designed by famous US-American George Nelson. Manufactured by Herman Miller. Nelson became design director for Herman Miller in 1964, holding the position until 1972. He achieved to line up Charles and Ray Eames, Isamu Noguchi, Robert Propst, and textile designer Alexander Girard to the firm, all of which can also be seen as related to Nelsons groundbreaking design. Being was active inside writing as well, he held several editorial positions of the magazine Architectural Forum, followed by becoming one of the most influential design theorists in the US.
