This handcrafted Armchair in walnut by George Nakashima comes with a beautifully crafted armrest, which makes this object so special. This piece is manufactured by Nakashima´s daughter Mira Nakashima Studio. Typical of Nakashima was his combining traditional American and Japanese with modern style. Many of his designs show various influences, but one constant always remained: George Nakashima continously insisted to always work with the finest wood. American Studio furniture, Wharton Esherick and Sam Maloof show resemblences to his work.
