White wall object that comes in a white painted wooden frame and is signed at the back by Ferdinand Spindel. The monochrome wall object characterizes Spindel's way of working and his horizon. The self-taught painter became a member of the Union of German Artists in 1957. From 1963 and for the next 10 years, he shaped the image of the established Gelsenkirchen Artists commune Halfmannshoff significantly. In this context, Spindel established an early contact to the ZERO group and exhibited alongside them. Otto Piene and Heinz Mack also belong to his contemporaries.
