Beautiful set of eight rare Ferdinand Kramer easy chairs made out of beech bentwood. They are very early examples from 1927. Manufactured by Thonet whose simple styles he favored, along with architect Adolf Loos. Ferdinand Kramer was a German modernist who was chosen to develop new buildings and interior design for the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main until the mid-60s. Ernst May and him designed the New Frankfurt together.
