Beautiful unique armchair designed by Ferdinand Kramer made out of beech bentwood. It is a very early example from 1927. Manufactured by Thonet. Ferdinand Kramer was a German modernist who planned and realized new buildings for the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main including some of the interior design. Together with Ernst May he was involved in the design of the New Frankfurt. He shares his love for the simple style of Thonet with the architect Adolf Loos.
