Beautiful and charming Ettore Sottsass dish in enameled copper from 1958. Ettore Sottsass was an Italian architect and designer of the late 20th century. His body of design includes furniture, jewellery, glass, lighting and office machine design. Manufactured by Gallery Il Sestante. Crafted in Enamel, this material involves a very skilled artisanal work visible in these pieces. He founded Ettore Sottsass Associati and the Memphis Group and designed various objects for Olivetti, Poltronova, Alessi, Artemide and later also for Vitra. He shares his legacy with other Italian design milestones such as Gio Ponti, Franco Albini and Ico Parisi. Especially his ceramics, are strongly reminiscent of those of Lucie Rie.
