The single chair by Erich Dieckmann from 1926 is made out of beech and has his typically, clear design. The rectangular stand construction contrasts with the curved backrest in plywood beech. This example has a woven cane seat. There is matching second example in stock. Dieckmann is one of the most important furniture designers at the Bauhaus. Like Marcel Breuer, he also experimented with tubular steel.
