Rare Egon Eiermann stand-up desk made out of walnut, chromium-plated metal and lacquered metal. Under the writing surface is a storage space which is lockable with a key. In the upper metal frame light is installed and also a shelf on the side. Manufactured by Gustav Veith. As university teacher and master builder Egon Eiermann became one of the most distinguished post-war architects in Germany. Among his groundbreaking architectural achievements are the German pavillon the world exhibition in Brussels from 1958 and the German embassy in Washington from 1964. Designers such as Herbert Hirche have had a strong impact on Eiermann.
