Beautiful compact cabinet is designed by American Edward Wormley and comes in walnut with 8 drawers in individual sizes. The special features are the brass handles with rosewood details, which give the sideboard a perfect balance of elegance and design. Manufactured in 1960 for Dunbar. The collaboration with Dunbar made Edward Wormley a household name for several decades. He produced two lines of furniture each year there, one traditional and one modern. As such, his take on modernity was a rootedness in historical influences with strikingly inventive breaches. In 1947 he creates the Precedent collection for the competing Drexel Furniture Company. Wormleys contributions resemble work by T. H. Robsjohn-Gibbings and Paul McCobb.
