Extraordinary sideboard made of birch American designer Edmond Spence. The beautiful wave-shaped front hides eight drawers and stands on modern shaped legs. The sideboard comes in very good original condition and is manufactured in Sweden in 1950s. Edmond Spence was an American designer who made a name for himself by interpreting Scandinavian modernism in his own way. The fusion of organic forms, Art Deco and clear Scandinavian design, describe his design. In any case, his work is comparable to that of his American colleague Paul Laszlo.
