Wonderful vases by multitalented artist Bruno Gambone from 1972. They vary in height and width. Gambone began experimenting with canvas and fabrics in the 1950s and developed his signature style that reminds of Lucio Fontana. In the early 1960s he set up in New York where he frequented the likes of Rauschenberg, Nevelson, Stella, Lichtenstein and Warhol. As well as painting and sculpture, he also worked in theatre and cinema, turning to ceramics and design later in his life.
