Bertil Herlov Svensson

Very rare wall piece from Swedish artist Bertil Herlov Svensson. Through the technique and adjustment of the metal strives the relief gets an incredible depth and 3D effect. The back side is covered with wood and signed by the artist. It comes in a limited edition #97/105. With his mathematic approach, Svensson tensioned aluminium pipes between steel wires, forming geometrical shapes. His influence from kinetics and minimalism made him very unique inside Swedish art and design. Despite materialistic differences, similarities can be made to such artists as Carl André and Walter de Maria and Pierre Heyvaert.
