Beate Kuhn

This wonderful ceramic pot lives through its unusual shape and the delicate colors chosen for it. Designed by Beate Kuhn. The German ceramist and ceramic sculptor became known for her distinctive style since the 50s. She designed asymmetrical vases, among others, for the company Rosenthal AG. She also used her vessels as painting grounds and created abstract objects. The form was mostly composed of individual parts and are rather to be considered as sculptures. Her work ranges from small vases to monumental fountains and wall-sized reliefs.
