Arne Vodder

Classic Arne Vodder sideboard with two reversible sliding doors in a teak corpus. This beautiful piece contains seven drawers with concave handles and bar section with bottom-hinged door. The sliding doors can be used from both sides. Manufactured by Sibast Møbler. The Dane went from a focus on office furnishings in Copenhagen to a popular phase between the fifties and seventies of internationally reknown designs that would be part of the White House and, until today, of the United Nations offices in Geneva. Especially his sideboards and dressers with shaped drawers instead of handles enjoy great popularity until today. His famous Danish contemporaries Arne Jacobsen, Finn Juhl, Hans Wegner and Borge Mogensen share important aestehtic qualities with Vodder.
