Classic Arne Vodder sideboard with two reversible sliding doors in a palisander corpus. This beautiful piece contains seven drawers lacquered in white and yellow with concave handles and bar section with bottom-hinged door on slender metal feet. Manufactured by Sibast Mobler. The Dane went from a focus on office furnishings in Copenhagen to a popular phase between the fifties and seventies of internationally reknown designs that would be part of the White House and, until today, of the United Nations offices in Geneva. Especially his sideboards and dressers with shaped drawers instead of handles enjoy great popularity until today. His famous Danish contemporaries Arne Jacobsen, Finn Juhl, Hans Wegner and Borge Mogensen share important aesthetic qualities with Vodder.
