Arne Jacobsen

Rare original Arne Jacobsen armchair named and known as Seagull from the original interior of the town hall, Mainz/Germany. The chair comes with original red colored leather on a chrome steel pipes frame. The object belongs to his widely known furniture designs for Fritz Hansen that show the strong aesthetic influence of Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe and the Bauhaus design idea. Designers Finn Juhl and Hans Wegner were defining forces as well.
